Missing columns (API connection from Kobo)
Hello mwsp_1,
Thank you for posting your query in the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
The synchronized XLSX export includes all columns, this indicates there is no issue with the form itself. The limitation you’re encountering is specific to how the JSON API is surfaced into Power BI from KoboToolbox. In this scenario, continuing with the synchronized export is a supported and stable approach, especially when form structures evolve over time. The JSON API can lag or expose a fixed schema depending on how the form version is handled, which Power BI cannot always reconcile automatically.
Thanks, Mauro89 for sharing valuable insights.Best regards,
Ganesh Singamshetty.
