Microsoft Power BI Personal Gateway installation fails

Hello,

I am trying to get Power BI Personal Gateway running for a demo tomorrow, however I encounter an odd problem.

Running the installer (update of previous version) I get the following screen:

Next button does not work and this screen hangs for +15 minutes before I canceled it.

Next I try to install again and than I get the following message:The Power BI Personal Gateway Installation Wizard failed. It looks that you are trying to reinstall. Please Uninstall the current version first. 

Next I tried to uninstal. That also fails: The Power BI Personal Gateway Wizard has failed for more information see the log

I have no clue what I can do next!?
