Microsoft Lists With PowerApps

I've made a working PowerApps Form that is correctly linked into a SharePoint List. However, when an authorized individual goes to edit a item's various fields from list view, the program automatically selects the first item. This leaves the user unable to edit items through the most basic method. I double checked the list settings as a probable cause for the issue with no luck. Any ideas of what is causing this?
