I would like to ask for your help on a problem I am facing.
I am trying to combine two tables together and generate a new format. I tried several times with some relationship but I cannot get anywhere.
Please see below what I would like to create.
I have two challenges: one there are some cells empty marked as "NA", second the "gate" reference are different from the two databases but need to be combined in yellow.
Can you please help me?

Output:
First you have to append the two tables to a new table.
Then create two custom columns to merge the data for GateA3/B1 and A5/B2.
Then unpivot the gates to create a gate column.
