Merging Files or folders-2 excel files into power bi

hello team, i have an issue trying to merge the data set or excel in a folder. i have a original data set in excel that used to collect data per month for KPI and its pivoted, we have separated file...

    Hi ssylvester 

     

    Took two sample similar excel files and placed into a folder

     

    Then pushed to Power BI through 'Folder' connector from 'Get Data' then navigated to the folder excel files are in. Click Ok

    Click Transform Data

     

    It navigates to Power Query Editor. Click on icon having two down arrows which is 'Combine Files'

     

    Click Ok

     

    From Queries pane on left side, you can see a combined merged table named 'Test Folder' under Other Queries.
