Loading connection only queries to a different workbook data model
Hi Amirmosh
The 'Data Model' is part of the Excel file in which the query resides. Whilst 'Data Model' refers to a way of gathering and storing data in Excel, each Excel file has its own Data Model. There isn't a single Data Model that is shared or acccesible across workbooks.
So if you have 2 queries in 2 separate workbooks, loading each one to the Data Model will mean they are still in their own respective workbooks. You won't be able to see both queries or their resultant tables from a single Data Model.

Hi Phil,
Is this true for connection only queries?
For example, If I have a loaded query to a table in a different workbook
And I use "existing connections" in order to connect it to another WB
then it is possible to load the 2 queries to the data model
