Load data from SSRS report manager - SSRS 2014

Dear Team,

Is there anyway to access the data from ssrs reports (intranet) via SSRS report manager url?

Tried with selecting web page as the source without success.

Hi @shamsuddeenvp,

Based on my test, we are able to connect to SSRS web portal use web data source in Power BI desktop. But report data can't be retrieved, it only gets HTML elements.

You need to connect to the data source which is the same as the one in SSRS report. Or you can try to pin SSRS visuals to Power BI Service, see: Pin Reporting Services items to Power BI Dashboards.

Yes, we can use same data source and prepare report. I am looking directly how to connect to report manager.

We can pin reports/visuals to power bi only in sql 2016 right? we cant do it in ssrs 2014.

Hi @shamsuddeenvp,

I'm afraid that we are not able to get report data or report visual directly from report manager 2014. As you know, when connecting use web data source, only HTML elements are retrieved.

Power BI integration feature is starting from SSRS 2016 version, not available in SSRS 2014.
