Not sure where this would go.
I have what we call Server builds listed as AWS, Azure, Google, and On Prim. Management wants a listing of each and alwo to combine the count for the Cloud Three . AWS, Azure, Google.
Right now I can show AWS 100 systems, Azure 2000 systems, and Google 40 Systems, what i want is a Virual showing Cloud 2140 total systems.
Tried Filter Options, Visualizations by putting Location for the 4 types and OS set to count, which gives me the totals for each, but not total.
in doing so I get totals for Each type of Platform but not the total of all three that I can put in a visual and select, also when I do this it removes everything else except the new table data of the column I select.
In my Pie Chart i have the one on the left, what I need is on the right in red (All Cloud).
So when selected my Table visual will show all but "On prem" data.
Do not duplicate data in a visual. That is a UX red flag.
Thank you for engaging and trying to help, I have been doing PBI for about a year now.
Yeah don't know what the UX Red flag is.
my inventory for Windows Servers is around 21,000 systems of which about 3,200 are Azure, 100 is AWS and 51 are Google, the rest some 17,000 are Physical, VMWare, Cirrus what we call On Prem.
Management wants a listing of all but wants to be able to select CLOUD and only see the Total of whats in the Cloud, i have them totaled but not together, and everytime I try On Prem is shown also.
Explore Column groups (right click a column, New Group). That should suffice.
