Hi All,
I'm running into a weird problem at a client of ours, I hope you can help me figure this out.
We've build a set of reports and dashboards based on an Azure SQL DB. The reports are uploaded to a O365 service user account and shared to different users from their on.
These users do all have a Power BI PRO license (as does the service user) and they want to add the shared Power BI Dashboards as dashboards in Dynamics 365. In the drop-down menu in Dynamics 365 they can see the list of dashboards that are shared with them, but all with the 'License Required Dialog' (see screenshot).
They are able to add the dashboard anyway and just cancel the notification, but that message shouldn't be there and gets annoying if you have to open the report multiple times a day.
When the users open the dashboards on PowerBi.com they get no notification, so only in Dynamics 365. When users try to load their own Power BI dashboards (so not ones shared with them) in Dynamics 365 users get no notification.
What we've tried so far (and didn't work):
- reuploading and resharing the dashboard
- revoking and granting the PRO-license
- revoking the Power BI free license, so only the PRO remains
- try sharing the Dashboards via APP-workspaces
