Hi Developers,
I have a requirement to fetch the most recent dated record based on a date. The parameter date, I am passing it from a dropdown and I am passing only the date so by default the time is 12:00 AM and the Date is 1st Sep 2023.
I have put the condition as Date<=dropdown2.selectedDate, so it should fetch me the items even if it has Date column value as 1st Sep 2023 12:00 AM, but it is not fetching those records.
For your reference I have added few screenshots to give more clarity on the issue, please share your thoughts why it is not able to evaluate the =(equal) operation in <= operation.
Please share your insights on this.
**I have added additional attachments in the first comment
In case you need to filter the date column entries in a SharePoint List, you also need to consider about the exact entry time.
Thus, if you need to take all the list items before a specific date, you must use the following function in your case:
<= DateTimeValue(Text(Dropdown2.Selected.'Start Date') & " 23:59:59")
Hi @AhmedSalih - could you please us here on how to resolve this? Is this an issue with Dataverse Date/Time columns?
HI @RezaDorrani ,
