Key Measure in POWERBI

Average Discount Percentage = AVERAGE('OrderDetails'[Discount] / 'OrderDetails'[Quantity])

 

THIS GAVE AN ERROR that says the parameter is not the correct type whenever i put the this section"/ 'OrderDetails'[Quantity])"

 

please assist on how to reolve this

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    AVERAGE formula only works for one column. I don't know what you're trying to achieve but you can do, for instance:

     

    Average Discount Percentage = AVERAGE('OrderDetails'[Discount]) / AVERAGE('OrderDetails'[Quantity])

    or

    Average Discount Percentage = AVERAGEX('OrderDetails', DIVIDE('OrderDetails'[Discount], 'OrderDetails'[Quantity],0))
