Is it possible to get data directly from Outsystems?

Greetings,

I was wondering if it is possible to get data directly from Outsystems. I read that Outsystems has a PowerBi connector, but I am not sure if this the way.

I'm more intrigued if I could get the data directly from Outsystems rather than dumping a report file and then geting data from that file

Thank you.

OutSystems on premise, or OutSystems cloud?

@Daemetius

OutSystems database stack is standard, i.e. a SQL Server or an Oracle database. Therefore you can connect PowerBI directly to these to get the data directly.

@Daemetius

Do you want to connect to OutSystems in Power BI? If so, there is no built-in connector for OutSystems in Power BI Desktop. You would  need to contact OutSystems support to check if it has OData feed available or how to use its API to retrieve data, it is possible to connect straight to the OData feed from Power BI Desktop or use the web entry in Power BI desktop to connect to API.

There are some samples for your reference.
