We are evaluating Power BI Desktop too, but performance is extremly bad. We do not even get any preview data.
Fetching a few thousand rows can be 20-30 minutes.
I sort of refuse to believe this is the performance everyone is facing :-)
The amount of data in SAP BW is small and BEx queries are fast.
Any input?
