Is Jira in Direct Query possible?

Hello everyone.

I wanted to use Power BI to analyze and manage our Jira Projects.

I noticed the 100 rows limit, but I overcame that by modifying the fetchpages limit, using the .pbit found in another post.

The update of the dataset is automatically set, in this way, as "Import": I need indeed to set a scheduled refresh if I want my data updated.

I wonder, is there a way to use a direct connection instead?

Being able to refresh the data only 8 times in a day isn't exactly enough, I'd really prefer a direct connection if possible.

Thanks!

@MaxItaly,

It doesn't support DirectQuery mode for JIRA data source in Power BI Desktop.

In your scenario, you can consider to purchase Power BI premium license, with this license, you are able to refresh data 48 times in a day.

Regards,
Lydia

Thanks @Anonymous for confirming my doubt.

I also didn't know about the limit of 48 refresh for premium users, that's interesting to know.
