Is Azure ssas connection supported with Enterprise gateway for Direct query?

Hi , 
Can you tell me if Azure ssas connection is supported with Enterprise gateway for Direct query?

Unable to connect ou cube in Azure after 4 hours try.

 @jerometurin Currently, the gateway allows for the use of DirectQuery to an on-premises SQL Server or SAP HANA, as well as a live connection to Analysis Services. You can use a live connection to either a tabular or multidimensional model in Analysis Services. For more info read here
