I've got my Google Analytics Data Linked and Updating to Power BI, but I would like to increase the Data Range that comes over from Google Analytics. Right now it's only pulling 2/25/2016 - 8/23/2016 and I would like to increase the Range to at minimum 1/1/2015 - 8/23/2016. The data is there in Google Analytics, but I dont' see how I can edit the range of data coming over into Power BI.
I've also got Adobe Analytics that I would like to do the same thing, but it's only pulling over a month's worth of data.
Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,
Firstly, the Google Analytics content pack only pulls in data from the last 6 months. And we are not able to select custom date ranges in the content pack. Regarding to this issue, you can vote it in this idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/11188791-google-analytics-core-api-update .
Secondly, please use Power BI Desktop to connect to Google Analytics. As discussed in this similar thread, you can import data of all time into Desktop and filter the time field based on your needs. After you customize the dataset in Power BI Desktop, you can create reports and publish them to Power BI Service.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Great thanks - I was able to use that work around. It would be great to be able to adjust the predefined Content Pack so that you could take a advantage of the report templates. Doing it through the Desktop you have to start at square one and develop all of the reports, etc... again.
Thanks,
Thomas
