Importing CSV into powerbi.com doesn't recognize that a field contains dates

Hi

I try to import a CSV file into powerbi.com and I have problem with a date field. It is not recognized as a field containing dates.

I have formated my date values like this: 2016-02-01T00:00:01.000Z.

    Is this in the Service? The latest version of Power BI Desktop that I am using recognized them as date/time without me doing anything special, they came in like:

     

    1/31/2016 7:00:01 PM

      Yes, it is in the service. The desktop application recognize it correctly.

        I confirmed this in the Service, definitely does not act the same. I would probably go ahead and use the smiley icon in the Service to send a message to support. It is likely they are aware of the issue but they may have some guidance and at least this will get it in the "queue" as something to be taken a look at and get fixed.
