Import SMIME files in to PBI

Hi all,

 

Im trying to import  an excel from attachments in an email but its the extension i get in power query is .p7m and its binary file is not recognized  when opening said file.

 

this is the error i get when opening the binary file, even thoung in the actual email has 2 excel files

 

if you need anymore if please let me know

    Do you know for a fact that it is an Excel file?  If so, change the extension value accordingly.

      How or more especifically do that, please not the email includes 2 excel files. Do you mean chang the column extendision row from above to .xlsx ?

       

      Tried adding a custom column with excel workbook function but it was not able to recognize the binary fileas an excel file
