Image icon instead of data

I saw another post about this, I have 2 columns one is an img url (which works when I paste it right into the browser) the second one is a binary column that I have converted.

In the other post the answer was that it was an invalid url but if I can post it into the browser and the url works, any tips on resolving this issue.

Thank you!

Hi @HTrowell

Firstly please check the following considerations from Display images in a table, matrix, or slicer in a report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn. Are these images in the supported file format and accessible anonymously without any sign-in?

Considerations

  • The image needs to be in one of these file formats: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .svg
  • The URL must be anonymously accessible, not on a site that requires a sign-in, such as SharePoint or OneDrive for work or school.
  • The Power BI mobile apps display the image only if the image URL is anonymously accessible. The image cannot be hosted on a site that requires a sign-in, such as SharePoint, even if you can see the image in Power BI Desktop or in the service.

Best Regards,
Jing
