I have monthly sales data for the full month but we only consider sales till 25th or 26th of the month and it varies month on month. How to set this filter in BI dashboard?

The sale data relationship is with calendar table to show FY sales, now I am struggling with the data presentation. whenever I select month it is showing full month data instead of data upto cut off sales date.

Hello @Pralhad29,

why do the cut off days vary? Is it due to the different ends of the month (30/31) or on the days of the week (Sunday/Monday).
Do I understand correctly that the monthly evaluation for April 2024, for example, is in the following range:
March 26, 2024 to April 25, 2024?

If so, you could create a Custom Day Column in Power Query

AddDays = Table.AddColumn(LastStepName, "DateCutOff", each Date.AddDays([Date], 5), type date)
