Hyperlink for files or folder on a network share not working

I used the Datasource Connector "Folder" to have a Power-BI list of all my Files on a network share....

I created Dashboards and slicers, however I am not able to create a direct Hyperlink to a folderpath or a single file....

The Hyperlink seems to need https:// or www:// or http:// but my Files are on a network share. Any hints how I can create a hyperlink in Powerbi for Files?

Hi @olgnanaraj,

Yes, currently hyperlinks in tables must begin with www., http:// or https://. Regarding to the feature that create hyperlinks begin with other prefix, please vote it and add comments in this idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/14829570-hyperlinks-without-http .

In your scenario, as a temporary workaround, you can upload files to OneDrive, then get shared links of files and add the hyperlinks in table. There is an example for your reference.

Thanks for the suggestion, but One Drive will not work as we have more than 250'000 Files and the sync does not support more.....

Hi Lydia,

Will try the suggestion as a workaround.
