I'd like to store a table in PowerBI, with a list of all the holidays from year 2000 to 2100, for use with many PowerBI projects.
Since the table is permanent (doesn't change) I don't need it to be tied to a location external to my PowerBI Desktop app.
Is it possible to store it internally and cut/delete any link to its original external source?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Various options:-
1) Use the Enter Data option, and coy and paste the holidays in there.
2) Turn off refesh on that table, because it is static data.
3) Use data flows
4) It is best practice to have holidays files on server with other data, with a front end that can edit it.
In which case you just import is like any other table into PBI
