    In your gateway management page make sure this is checked.

I am having a problem to enable my personal on premise gateway for cloud data connection.

how can i reach the setting explained in your email?

Go to Power BI  the gateway management page, then select a gateway and click on settings.

      Use a standard/enterprise gateway if you can.
