How to pull additional data from source folder, to modifiy a template?

I am trying to modify an inherited Power BI template. the template is set to pull from a designated folder, and pulls a series of worksheets from the excel files in that folder...    here is the ex...

    After two days of trying and failing... i stumbled upon this video:

    that was able to give me enough direction to make it work... 

     

    Basically - I did NOT need to make any New Queries at all... I just needed to duplicate tables that already existed in the project, and alter the "Applied Steps" to unpack the desired tables from the original source folder.
