How to import data from password protected website ?

Hi all,

Is it possible to import data into power BI from a password protected website ? If yes, let me know.

Connecting to public url is easy into power bi using web option. In the basic option, I see username and password to connect with the data. But it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

Importing data from a password-protected website into Power BI is indeed possible using the web connector.
If you're encountering issues with the basic authentication method, you might explore other options like OAuth2 or API-based connections if the website provides those alternatives

Dear @Rahul_SC,

We are also using the searates site but not using the login details.

Better if you can do using their API.

Hope this helps
