How to handle null in custom column?

I have a simple custom column below that is a conversion time in dates. Each of these columns has rows with null, so my custom column also has null. Is there a way I can replace null with blank in my...

    Hi ERing ,

     

    Unfortunately, this is the default. null means blank. null does not represent the text "null" here, so it does not affect the calculation.

Hi ERing 

 

You can establish an if to check if a value is null. I don't know how your columns are defined, but anyway: if([lead duration]= null then <what you want to return> else [lead duration])

 

If you want a blank -> then BLANK()

    My columns are defined as decimal number.

     

    Is there a way to check just the result of the custom column so that if the result is null, then Blank()?

      Hi ERing 


      Yes, you can store the result in a variable and then check with an if in this way:

       

       

       

       

      Measure=

var _result= <Your measure>

return IF (_result= null,BLANK(),_result)

       

       

      But if you want to perform calculus, it is better to return a 0 instead of a BLANK()
