How to format: Row has more than one value for a column (parameter)

Newbie here. I am looking for the right keywords or a solution or concept for the following problem:

Context: I want to analyze Spotify data. For this I have the artists with their respective IDs and their genres (the rest is not relevant at this time). I now want to configure my genres column that I can filter the artists based on the top 10 predefined genres and that they appear on filtering only one genre or on several.

image.pngMy approach: I have created columns with top 10 genres which output True or False. If I now want to filter this with the data slice Visual a hierarchy is created (genre_pop, genre_hiphop, genre_rap, etc.). But I dont want a hierarchy.

Another solution would be to add one genre per series entry, but then my dataset becomes extremely much larger because each artist appears multiple times so that they belong to the required genres.

Is this requirement solvable? Is there any kind of concept for this? (e.g. an auxiliary table or kind of a list in a column)

Thanks for the help in advance!

@Anonymous I'm not quite sure what you are doing but what I would do is split the genre column on "," and then unpivot the resulting columns. Then the problem is pretty trivial.
