How to enable the tools ribbon in the PQ.

Hi

In my instance of Power Query desktop I can't see the tools options in the tools ribbon

In a demo I am watching the user (Chris Webb) is talking through how to use the tool features

Is there somethig I need to add?

Thanks

Kiwi excel doesn't have the feature of diagnostics like Power Bi. You won't find it in there. The picture is still excel. Power Bi Desktop will have it. The new versions might have it enabled and if not you can do what mahoneypat is suggesting.

I hope that helps,

I have downloaded the lastest PBI desktop and can see the Tools ribbon now in Power BI

Good spot on the excel snippet.  Should I also be able to see the tools ribbon in Power Query?

This is what PQ options looks like (MS 365 Apps for enterprise).  Thanks

Hi. If you can't see the menu you probably have an older version of Power Bi Desktop than the post/video of Chris. The first picture looks like you are in Excel and not in Power Bi. Please be sure you have the latest version of Desktop and you will se that.

I hope that helps,
