How to add to CDM for mapping purposes

In Azure Synapse I can add either custom or from template tables to the model but I don't know how to then expose those new tables to the fabric datadlow interface in the CDM mapping to enable creating new types and then filling those entity types with instance data.

Hi @durinwinter

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

Could you please confirm whether you are doing it in Azure Synapse or in Microsoft Fabric? It would be helpful if you can explain your query with some screeshots, so that I can guide you better.

Thank you.

Hi @durinwinter ,

Your question happened from Synapse, but you post it in Power Query forum. So I moved this post to Synpase forum, thanks for your understanding.

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao
