How to Specify Shift-JIS(932) Encoding for CSV Files in DataFactory Data Flow

I'm creating a Data Flow in DataFactory and want to specify "Shift-JIS(932)" for reading csv files. It seems that it cannot be specified using "TextEncoding.Type" in the image(TextEncoding.Type - PowerQuery M | Microsoft Learn). Could you please let me know if there is another method to do this? Thanks

Hi @KeitaNakamura

You should be able to specify Shift-JIS encoding by using the literal integer value 932.

That is, change this:

Encoding = TextEncoding.Windows

to this:

Encoding = 932

Certain Code Page Identifiers are indeed available as named constants (see here) but the integer value of any valid Code Page Identifier should be allowed.

Does this work for you?
