How do I use the tab name as my query name

Hi,

I have many tabs on my workbook with names like :042 , Exchange rate etc..

Is there anyway when I create a query for a tab it names the query with the tab name like 042?  Or do i need to do this manaully?

Hi @craig811

Yes, access the file like described here (https://www.poweredsolutions.co/2018/06/11/navigation-window-folder-in-power-query-and-power-bi/ ), so that you have a table containing all the elements from your xlsx ("Edit" is called "Transform data" now).

Then right-click your mouse in column "Data" and choose "

Query names will be suffixes with "_sheet", but thats quicker to delete than to type in all the sheet names manually.
