Hi,
I am new to Power BI. I use the online version of Power BI since its on a macbook. I have created a BI report with the data uploaded from an excel sheet with multiple tabs of data. I have a new excel sheet with additional data. How do I upload and link the data and fields from the new excel sheet to the existing Power BI report. I don't have the desktop app hence I need to do it online.
Thanks
Sudipto

Hi @sudiptokar ,
First of all, we need to make it clear that in the uploaded semantic model of Power BI Service, other data sources cannot be added to it. Here are some of the methods you can try:
The first method is that the datamart you're using requires a Power BI Premium subscription. This allows you to place multiple of your Excel data (old and new) in a datamart and create a new semantic model based on that datamart. You can refer to these two documents.

In the second way, you can use a virtual machine to download Pwoer BI Desktop, download and open this treasure report, and use Power Query to get the new Excel and merge it. When you're done creating the report, re-upload it to Power BI Service.
