Highlights Graphs rather than filtering Based on Slicer Selections

Hi All ,
I know Power bi  doesn't highlight functions but could anyone assist me,
i am trying to highlights graphs based on the slicer selections., i tried the " Edit Interaction"  but it still giving me the Filter and None Icons not the Highlight ( ICONS when you select "Edit Interactions" that appear on top of the Visuals") These are my Slicersthis Are my scliers selections that are based on Departments and sections

And this my main dashboard

Main Dashboard

And this is when i select a slicer
Slicer selected and it filters

Please Could anyone assist ,
what i wanted is that clicking on a slicer Selection it will only highlights the selected and fades the others rather than filtering ?

  • Hi, as far as I know, slicers do not support highlighting. That is not something they are meant for. To do this, you could perhaps insert a matrix visual (that you would make pop up (hide/appear) with a bookmark) to simply click and highlight data on other visuals, but the behavior would not be very stable I think...

Another option would be perhaps to look after a custom slicer. Perhaps some allow this behavior.
