I have been studying power bi, but I need to start testing in your customer machine, which has Dynamics CRM (on-premises).
I am very confused. Should I use the recent "Power BI Personal Gateway", with a connection to SQL(CRM database)? How email, if I'm in a test machine to connect power bi?
Or use the Analysis Services Connector, but never used, what do i have to do in the served to connect to CRM?
Thank you in advance all the help I can give and sorry for my English.

Hi Dina, It is beauty of power bi you can connect any source that easily available to you.
With SSAS connector
If your CRM data is in Cube then you can definitely use SSAS connector, It is very easy to use, Just follow steps from here

With SQL (CRM database)
If you can connect your data directly through SQL on premise source here is link explaining same step by step

I would try the Microsoft Dynamics CRM service first. Get Data | Services | Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will need to know your OData feed url. Here is an article on it:
Should work the same for on-premises if your OData feed is accessible from the cloud.
If that does not work directly, you could try creating a Power Query query to the OData service and then you could load the Power Query query into the gateway.
Thanks for the reply.
I do not think is accessible from the cloud. But after much research, I found an article that answers my questions:
Thanks
