Hi all,
Is there any way to have a command in power bi that runs a macro in an excel workbook? I have a dashboard linked to an excel spreadsheet with info and live stock prices. When I refresh power bi it will only refresh to the last time the excel workbook was refreshed (ie. I would have to refresh the excel data and then go into power bi and refresh to get the updated data.) I have a very simple macro that I use to refresh market data in excel, is it possible to have something where: I refresh data in power bi > that trips the macro in excel to run (update prices) > have those updated prices pull into power bi.
Thank you in advance,
No way so far.
Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension! |
DAX is simple, but NOT EASY! |
