Group values in a matrix visual

Hi Power BI Community,

I have a matrix visual in which I am displaying some information. 2 columns in the visual have been add recently and most rows currently contain empty information. As such, this is creating sub groups in the visual which is not what I want it to do. How can associate the value used in row in one of the columns with all and display the same value in all other rows within the same column so they appear as one group in matrix visual?

I have attached an image to show the problem. It is currently affecting the Attendance Policy and Course Recordings columns in the visual
