Getting actual usernames from Active Directory

Hi, I was asked to fetch a list of all our usernames from Active Directory by using PBI. The problem is that it loads only displayName and distinguishedName at actual querry editor.

This is how the fields look in the preview, what needs to be done in order to be able to access those felds which are "Record" Type.

Figured this out by myself like 5 minutes after the post (typical).

The trick is that you can actually choose what you want to see from the record

Anonymous Any chance you could tell me how you were able to connect to AD from Power BI? I've tried a number of things but for some reason the domain name just won't take. Power BI keeps telling me it doesn't recognize the domain I'm putting in, even though I'm pretty sure I'm using the right one (it's the default domain in O365 Admin > Setup > Domains).

      Thanks,

      Ben

Hi, I didn't really do anything else but chose AD as a data source and typed in our domain name.
