Getting a file from a website into powerbi

I would like to be able to download a csv file from a website into powerbi

 

I used the web connector, and added the URL for the download (which would start the download if used in a browser) but it seems to be loading the web page html, not the file.

 

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

    labromb I am not aware of way to get downloadable file into powerbi straight. Below are options you can consider.

     

    1. Publish csv file to web so that using web connector you access data 

    2. Connect to downloaded file from PBI and setup a way to have your file refreshed / replaced regularly
