Getting Personal Gateway Offline error

Agree with BITomS . Just as the official document mentioned——Don't install a gateway on a computer, like a laptop, that might be turned off, asleep, or disconnected from the internet. The gateway can't run under any of those circumstances.
In this case, you could use on-premises data gateway (standard mode) instead of personal gateway. Because the personal gateway can run only as an application, but standard gateway runs as a service.

The personal gateway will not run if the machine the gateway is on is asleep.
You would need to install a gateway on a machine that is always on.

Any idea how the VM where we installed gateway should be always ON.
