    VAR __SelectedDate = MAX('Date'[Date])
    VAR __StartDate = EDATE(__SelectedDate, -11) // includes 12 months
    RETURN
    CALCULATE(
    SUM(YourTable[Amount]),
    DATESBETWEEN(
    'Date'[Date],
    __StartDate,
    __SelectedDate
    )
    )
