From Journal description common words idenfication

Hi,

Is there way I can identify the common words across the journal description? Combined both decription and give me some thing coomon that can enable us to do the tax review. Alternatively just using " Journal Line_Dsc that give common key words then I can use that keywords to do the analysis whether it is subject to tax deduction or not?

For e.g

Journal Line _DscJournal_DscKey word

Sorry , if I wasn't clear.  The column Journal_Line Dsc and Journal Dsc is the orignal data, the column Keyword is what I wanted as " expected outcome".

    Thanks

  • From you example I ca't see how you came up with the values in your Keyword column. In several cases words appear in Keyword that are not common to the other 2 columns.

    But!

    Guessing what you want:

Split by delimeter " " the journal columns .

Do a List.Intersect of the 2 resulting lists.

    Do a Text.Combine of the intersect with " "  as a delimiter

Or alternatively, Expand the intersect list so you get a row for each keyword. This may be easier to analyse....
