Fields when drilling down into a PivotTable

Hi

I've created a PivotTable from a PowerBI dataset as per the below image.

Not every available field has been selected but when it comes to double clicking on one of the numbers only certain fields are showing in the drill down table. For example, 'Entry_No' is not selected but shows in the drill down table wereas 'PostingDate' does not.

Is there a way to include the posting date in the drill down table for example?

Thanks,

Ross

Please try the below steps :

    1. Add Posting Date to the PivotTable:

Go to your PivotTable and check the PivotTable Fields pane. If Posting Date is -     available, drag it to the Rows or Values shelf to include it in the PivotTable.

    1. Adjust Drill-Down Field Settings:

Right-click on the numerical value you want to drill down into. Select Value Field        Settings and review how the data is being summarized. Some configurations can influence which fields appear during a drill-down.

    1. Ensure Posting Date is a Column, not a Measure:

Posting Date should be a column in your dataset, not a measure. If it’s a measure, it may not appear by default in drilldowns. If necessary, create a calculated column in Power BI to convert it into a field that can be included.

If this works , Please let me know.

      Hello

      No luck unfortunately.

The Posting Date is a column in your dataset, not a measure. I'll create a calculated column in Power BI to replicate the Posting date to see if that gets included.

      Thanks,

    Hi, RossBateman96

What kind of output do you expect based on the data you provided? Can you provide an example?

      Hi Anonymous

The current output when a value is drilled into is as follows:

      -Company

      -Entry_No

      -Document_Type

      -Document_No

      -Purchase_Order_No

      -Kg

      -G_L_Account_Name

      -FIeld

      -Department

      -Amount

      (and a few more)

Not all of these are included in the pivot and some of the fields included in the data set table arent showing at all, such as Posting_Date & PAYROLL. I'd ike the output to include all of the fields from the orginal table (shown in the screenshot below).

      Thanks,

      Ross
