Failing to delete a data source

Hi Mentors, I am trying to delete data source but failing to do that repeatedly. It may be simple but I am unable to make it.

I Followed below process, but can't getting the reason of not working.

Remove the query table from the pbix is the most simple way.

In data source setting, it is deleting the credential and permission to access the datasource, it doesn't remove the data source that is already imported to power bi desktop. You can only changed the source location or credentials in the setting. Hope that is clear.

Delete the queries in the query editor that use that data source instead.  Right click and choose delete.
