Hi,
I'm trying to import a solution (managed/unmanaged) containing 26 dataflows, the import process fails every time I try. The error log is not very helpful, it says "A task was canceled."
I think the problem is because each dataflow takes too long to publish in the target environment causing the import process to timeout.
I'm kind of stuck now. I don't want to deploy each of them separately or recreate them in the target environment.
Much appreciated if anyone can point me in the right direction!
Hello @khoait
Do you know if you are responsible for this finally success ?
I tried so many things to import dataflows to another environment without any luck 😞 Every attempts failed like you showed in your screenshot but I can't find why. Any help is welcome !
(here is recent article that explains how it is supposed to work : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/dataflows/dataflow-solution-awareness )
Hi @RuneHanssens , @Wobbler100 ,
I tried again today and it worked for me with 16 dataflows in a single solution. I'm not sure if it's just luck this time or the issue has been fixed.
Hope it works for you as well!
Any update on this I am having the same issue, only element in the solution is the Dataflow and it is not using multiple connections
Any updates on this? I have the same issue but I only have 1 dataflow so I can't split them up in multiple solutions. Is there a way to increase the time before a timeout occurs?
Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,
Do you import the dataflows in desktop or Service?
Best Regards,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
I'm using Dataflows in Power Platform Maker Portal. I created a solution and include the dataflows, and import the solution to the target Power Platform environment.
I tried to split a single dataflow to a separate solution. And it imported successfully. The error happens when I have two or more dataflows in a solution.
Kind regards,
Khoa
Hi @nhnkhoa ,
Will it be the reason that the dataflows in a solution have multiple credentials?
As for dataflow, there is a limitation as below:
Dataflows using gateway data sources do not support multiple credentials for the same data source

Hi Kelly,
I'm not using data gateways in my dataflows and only use my credentials to connect to Sharepoint folders.
If it is the case, it should also fail when I imported one dataflow separately. However, the solution containing only one dataflow imported successfully.
Kind regards,
Khoa
