Fail to refresh dataflows when reading pdf blobs!

Hello everyone,

I am Giang, a PBI user from Vietnam. Recently, I've tried to use PBI dataflows to connect with Azure Blobs to read PDF files.

The process of loading the preview of data has been totally fine. But, after saving the dataflows, the refresh could not be done. The error has been raised like below:

"

Spoiler
Error: PipelineException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

"

Could someone please explain this issue to me and share with me how to solve it?

Thank you so much for your kind.

Similar problem here. I have a dataflow that reads PDFs from a Sharepoint site using Pdf.Tables()

When I edit the query in power query online everything seems fine. It reads PDF contents to a table.

However, after saving the dataflow, I am not able to refresh it.

Any news since then?

Hi, @giangtd13 ;

Try reinstalling the program, making sure the installation is x64; running as admin and changing the permission settings of the files...

Hi, @v-yalanwu-msft;

I've created all dataflows in my PBI workspace. Everything is in the cloud now. Hence, as your advice, what program I should reinstall?

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you, sir.

Yours sincerely,

Giang Truong.
