Facing issue when trying to expand sheet content

Hi,

 

I am trying to expand the excel file that i unzipped in the power query, but getting below error.

 

Can you please suggest what is the issue and what is to be done to resolve it.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    It looks like you're trying to use the folder connector to load and combine multiple files.

    If so, then I would guess that you have files in that folder that are not of a data type (Text, CSV, Excel etc.).

     

    You can avoid this by selecting the Power Query step that shows all the files that are contained in the folder, then filtering this list based on the file extension.

    Hi Anonymous ,


    It seems like the list of your first file doesn't contain the supported type.

    For temporary workarounds, you could unzip files locally and connect to 'Excel files" or "folder" via Power BI Desktop.
