When we update the datatype of a column in sql server (Source of data) , the changes are reflected on our report on refreshing the data. But the same changes are not reflected on the existing TILES (alredy created before) . We need to create new tiles again to reflect those changes .
Please help me to resolve this.

@Aditya1234 Tiles within dashboard gets refreshed every 15 mins ie data for the tiles gets refreshed if your dataset in power bi service itself if refreshed however for example if you have pinned a tile of column chart from your report to dashboard and then change that column chart to pie chart in report then in dashboard it will stay as column chart only. If for that pie chart data gets changed then you will see actual data being refreshed in the tile. Hope that make sense.
Hi @Aditya1234,
Adding to other post, to reflect the change on tiles in time, you can force a tile refresh by selecting the ellipse (...) in the upper right of a dashboard and selecting Refresh dashboard tiles.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
