Expanded Versions "CreatedBy" column in SharePoint Online list connector results in error
I have a Power BI report showing version history of documents in a SharePoint library, but receive an error for the "CreatedBy" value. Specifically: I’m using the SharePoint Online list connector in Power Query, then expose all document versions by expanding the “File” column first, then the “Versions” column within that. This works great for all columns except the “CreatedBy” column which results in an Error value when expanded (see below). The error is: DataSource.Error: SharePoint: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. (The expression "SP.FileVersion732be ... 52/CreatedBy" is not valid.)
Any suggestions on how to fix this, or otherwise obtain the Creator for each document version?

Are you using the 1.0 connector? There is a bug with 1.0 where occasionally it won't let you expand person type columns. You could try using 2.0 list connector, or changing the API version from 15 to 14 in the advanced editor.

I tried both suggestions and, unless I am missing something, the 2.0 connector lost the ability to expand version history. And switching to API version 14 lost the document libraries. (Note: I also tried using the oData and SharePoint Folder connector, but nither appeared to have the ability to expand previous versions like the SharePoint Online List connector has.)
