Excel Power Query issue with MariaDB ODBC driver
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi pierrebenko ,
Based on the information you provided, it appears that the issue might be related to a change or bug in the MariaDB ODBC Connector version 3.2.4.
-- This problem does not occur when using the MariaDB ODBC driver version 3.1.20.
Given that the problem does not occur with version 3.1.20 of the ODBC driver, you could consider downgrading to that version until a newer version of the driver is released that addresses this issue.Best Regards,

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I have already downgraded the driver, which appears to be a temporary solution. However, I’m curious—if the ODBC driver itself caused the issue, wouldn’t I encounter the same problem when using HeidiSQL?
Looking forward to your insights.
Best regards,
Peter
Hi pierrebenko ,
The problem may be specific to a few versions of the driver or Excel, or it may affect a wider range of tools.
In any case, the recommended next step is to contact the MariaDB ODBC driver or Excel support to determine the cause of the problem.
You can open a ticket here to bring this to the developer's attention. Here is an example.
