Excel Power BI insert table failing with a request to "restart the app"?

Attempting to Get Data, from Power BI. the new "Insert Table" functionality.

I have run into the first 12 surveys from survey monkey I was able to pull in as tables.

The 13th one and a few after that, I get this message: "Power BI Datasets Failed to create connected table.  Restart the app and try again."  I do not know what app it is referring to.  I have tried shutting my laptop down and starting it up again, I have tried opening a new excel spreadsheet and attempting to insert this one survey into a table and I keep getting this error.

search for this error provides no suggestions. What app needs restarting? Because whatever I am shutting down and starting up, is not helping.

Here is one possible hint.  When I try to insert a pivot table (instead of a table), choosing a field, I get this more specific error.

There are over 100 fields/columns. But documentation indicates that it's within the 16K maximum.
